Chervil, sometimes called French parsley or garden chervil, is a delicate annual herb related to parsley. It is commonly used to season mild-flavoured dishes and is a constituent of the French herb mixture fines herbes.
Did you know: Chervil is one of the essential ingredients in French cuisine and is one of the main herbs along with chives, parsley and tarragon in fines herbes, a French seasoning for egg, fish and poultry dishes. Chervil takes a relatively long time to germinate and grow. We wait 20 days or even longer before chervil reaches a microgreen size. Once microgreens are ready for harvest, get a pair of sharp kitchen shears and snip off everything except the very bottom of the stem. Use your chervil microgreens right away as they tend to wilt soon after cutting
